WIP Evil Minion (JPG Castings)

Great little kit. Included are 3 solid cast resin parts, eye decals, and a tuft of violet hair. The casting is nearly flawless with only a slight seam offset down one side of the figure.
Also included is a small sheet of water transfer decals with various, optional eyes, and a small logo for the front pocket of the minion's overalls.
Molded onto the figure is a small, square base. This can be cleaned up and used for display, or removed. I chose to saw it off.
I hogged out the goggle with a Dremel tool.
Yup. 15mm googly eye fits in there perfectly but the pupil is a little too large.
I separated the goggle bezel with a razor saw. This will make it easier to chrome the bezel and I can add a lens to the goggle.
A little Bondo filler putty to cover up the one minor seam. Otherwise, the casting is exceptional.
Base painting is fairly simple: Violet, Black, and White. All Vallejo Model Colors, and Goldens Airbrush Acrylics.

Eye surgery. I wanted to put the smaller pupil from the 12mm googly eye into the larger 15mm eye, so a quick slice along the edge of the dome and the pupils popped out easily. I took the opportunity to paint the pupil a violet color to match the character.
Here is the new googly eye in place--with a proper, slightly "crazy" look.

After masking off the goggle, I applied a gloss black undercoat. The goggle was then base-coated with Alclad II Magnesium, and the lens bezel with Alclad II Chrome.
As always, THANKS FOR LOOKING!
